About this file

These are presentation slides for the Abrams Integrated Logistics Services (AILS) Industry Day, held on 15 May 2025, detailing a proposed U.S. Army contract for comprehensive support services for the Abrams tank system. The contract is a Single Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a 5-year base period and a 6-month optional extension, with a maximum of 7,967,009 labor hours. Key service requirements include Total Package Fielding (TPF), New Equipment Training (NET), vehicle maintenance, Modification Work Orders (MWO), and Field Service Representative support across CONUS and OCONUS locations.

The solicitation will evaluate offerors on three factors: Experience (with sub-evaluations for TPF, training, maintenance, and MWO performance), Cost/Price, and Small Business Participation. Experience requirements include demonstrated capability in managing simultaneous fielding missions, training at multiple locations, maintaining military ground combat vehicles, and performing complex modification work. The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal targets a Request for Proposal in Summer 2025, proposal submission in Fall 2025, and contract award in Spring 2026, with the solicitation number W56HZV-24-R-0035-2.
