SECTION B - SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS
B.1. Ordering. In Accordance with FAR 52.216-18, Ordering, the Government may unilaterally issue orders with the order pricing identified within each CLIN in Section B.
B.1.1. Top-Up Orders
B.1.1.1. Definition: A subsequent order executed within 30 calendar days of the previous order made in a given ordering period.
B.1.1.2. The Government may execute an order below the minimum quantities if said order meets the above definition of a top-up order.
The top-up order quantities during the 30-day period will be combined with the initial order to determine the total applicable recurring price. For instance, if an additional quantity of the same CLIN, when added to the initial order, results in the utilization of the next pricing band (pricing bands are identified within each CLIN in Section B), and thus, yields a price lower than that obligated under the initial order, the initial order price will be adjusted downward to the newly applicable pricing and the new top-up quantities will be awarded based on the newly applicable pricing. Multiple top-up orders may be placed during the 30-day period against each initial order within a given ordering period; however, they do not extend the original 30-day top-up period.
