(IAW) CDRL A002 Receipts and Inventory Adjustment Reports.

C.3.2.2 Shipping and Packaging Discrepancies. Discrepancies shall be distinguished and reported as one of the following:

C.3.2.2.1 Shipping Type Discrepancy: This discrepancy is evident when freight received does not agree with the supply shipping documents. Report IAW with CDRL A004 Shipping and Packaging Discrepancy Report.

C.3.2.2.2 Packaging Type Discrepancy: A packaging discrepancy is any unsatisfactory condition due to improper or inadequate packaging

(including preservation, packing, marking, or utilization) that causes the item, shipment, or package to become vulnerable to loss, delay, damage, or unnecessary expense to the U. S. Government, such as excessive packing. Report IAW CDRL A003 - Shipping and Packaging
