B.2.3 Top-Up Orders

B.2.3.1 Definition: A subsequent order executed within 60 calendar days of the previous order made in a given ordering period.

B.2.3.2 The Government may execute an order below the minimum quantities if said order meets the above definition of a top-up order.

The top-up order quantities during the 60-day period will be combined with the initial order to determine the total applicable recurring vehicle price. For instance, if an additional quantity of vehicles, when added to the initial order, results in the utilization of the next pricing band (pricing bands are identified within Attachment 0015), and thus, yields a price per vehicle lower than that obligated under the initial order, the initial order price will be adjusted downward to the newly applicable pricing and the new top-up quantities will be awarded based on the newly applicable pricing. Multiple top-up order may be placed during the 60-day period against each initial order within a given ordering period; however, they do not extend the original 60-day top-up period.
