QUESTION 1: The suggested manufacturer (HYDMECH) has temporarily discontinued the requested model for some engineering changes. The closest saw they have in production as far as capacity is the V-20, which is NOT automatic. Then there is the V-18APC (smaller but full auto) and V-25APC (larger but also full auto). They state the V-20APC may be available next summer.

ANSWER 1: The main requirement that is needed from this tilt saw is the capacity to saw 60 degrees (left & right). The V-18 cannot cut at the 60 degree angle, so the V-18 or the V-18APC will not be acceptable. The V-20 is NOT automatic, it is in fact a manual saw, but the V-20 can cut at the 60 degree angle, so we would accept the V-20.

Amendment 02 revises the specifications listed in CLIN 0001.

QUESTION 2: Can you clarify what type of installation you need on CLIN 0001? Do you actually need someone to come to the facility and do the installation? Can you elaborate on what is needed?

ANSWER 1: The Government no longer requires Installation of the Tilt Saw, only delivery is required.

Amendment 02 revises the specifications listed in CLIN 0001.
