Maverick Missile Fixture Stand Questions and Answers 28 February 2022

Question: Does the contractor developed drawing need to meet the criteria of a Government Level 3 TDP, or just a standard drawing and CAD model to build from? Are STEP files acceptable for the CAD model?

Answer: Engineering says to go for the Level 3 TDP drawing standard. If this will prolong the job or add substantial cost, then is probably say it isn't necessary, though. You can go with standard drawing and CAD at that point.

The level 3 would just prepare you better for future endeavors, but the standard would meet our basic needs. Step files will work for the CAD file type.

Question: Do the dash numbers in the BOM shown on the print indicate different configurations? If so, is the agency asking for the components for every dash number listed in the BOM, or is there a certain configuration of stand being requested?

Answer: The dashes are different parts of the sub‐assemblies. Engineering would include all parts or options as shown on the drawing regardless of what they entail.
