Manufacturers Association) standards.

Conditioning Systems

REFRIGERATION

o A cascade non-CFC refrigeration system o This chamber utilizes (2) 25 hp rated compressors in cascade arrangement o Located in attached refrigeration machinery section o Water-cooled condenser with automatic modulating inlet water valve o Designed to ASHRAE standards o Discharge/Suction Pressure Transducers for monitoring pressures o Compressor discharge/suction temperature monitoring o Cascade compartment insulated and incorporates a stainless steel drip pan with drain

HEATING

o Nichrome open coil heating elements for fast transitions o Proportionally controlled by solid state, photo-isolated relay o Replaceable fusible link, mounted on the heater for positive over-temperature protection of the chamber

AIRFLOW

o High capacity fans (blowers) o Externally mounted motors with a specifically designed one piece extended stainless steel shaft o Bearings located outside temperature conditioned area and sealed and life-time lubricated with hi-temp silicone grease o Temperature conditioning area is separated from the test space by means of a specially designed air distribution system o Air is supplied into chamber near the ceiling on the rear wall plenum, air is returned near the floor

OPTIONAL HUMIDITY

o Externally located stainless steel humidity vapor generator. The generator incorporates sheath immersion heaters, automatic water supply, over-temperature and low water protection o Sheath immersion heaters controlled by solid-state, photo-isolated, zero voltage switching control relays o Thermo-dynamically engineered copper humidity and dehumidification cooling coils with aluminum fins located in the condition plenum o Refrigerated humidity cooling operated by the high stage refrigeration compressor o Electronic sensor system o Humidity water purification system
