SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

FINAL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q1 What is the difference between a “legible” translation and a “certified” translation, if the SOW states all title evidence documents (i.e. recorded documents) require “certified” English translations?

A1: The “Provide Title Evidence” deliverable is 21 days which requires the documents to be translated but not necessarily certified. The certified translations may be delivered within the 30-day timeframe.

Q2 How is the separate deliverable you describe above in your answer different from the requirement in the SOW to provide “certified” English translations?

A2: The “Provide Certified English Translations” allows for 30 days to complete the certification of the translations.

Q3: How is it possible to submit a title commitment with “certified” English translations of all supporting documents per the SOW within 21 calendar days when the Exhibit B Deliverables Schedule states 30 days?

A3: These are two different deliverables. The “Provide Title Evidence deliverable” is 21 days which requires the documents to be translated but not necessarily certified. The certified translations may be delivered within the 30-day timeframe.

Q4: If a verification requires a “search” then why is it not paid at the rate of an initial title evidence and title commitment order?

A4: A verification is different from a preliminary title evidence and title commitment, so it has a different fee structure.

Q5: Why would a verification be ordered separately if a chain of title is part of the statement of work?

A5: A verification could be ordered separately if an update is needed
