About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ W519TC-26-Q-A080 issued on 17 February 2026 for aluminum sheets procurement.
The document addresses two key clarifications regarding product compliance and material specifications. First, the Government requires BAA-compliant products only; non-BAA compliant products are not acceptable. DFARS clauses 252.225-7000 and 252.225-7001 have been incorporated into the RFQ via amendment to enforce this requirement. TAA compliance is not applicable to this procurement. Second, regarding aluminum alloy specifications, the Government rejected inquiries about accepting either 2024-T3 Alclad or 2024-T3 bare/mill finish aluminum. The answer directs bidders to reference the Section A Narrative and CLIN 0001 description for the specific acceptable alloy requirements, indicating that neither of the proposed surface conditions is acceptable unless they match the detailed specifications in those referenced documents.
