About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) spreadsheet for a Rigging Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) solicitation with the solicitation number W519TC-26-R-RIGG. The specific Q&A addresses a contractor's inquiry about a site visit, with the government clarifying that no site visit is required during the current solicitation stage. Instead, a site visit will be mandated only after a company is awarded a Basic Ordering Agreement, and subsequent task order solicitations are issued.

The associated federal contract opportunity is for Rigging Services at Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA), utilizing NAICS code 811210 for Electronic & Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance. The procurement will follow a two-step process, with a one-time BOA Request for Proposal release. The government will execute no-cost BOAs to acceptable offerors, with agreements valid for up to five years. Notably, this is the only opportunity for contractors to obtain a Rigging BOA and propose on future task order RFPs within the next five years. The small business standard for this procurement is $34,000,000, and the Product Service Code is J066 for Industrial Products Install, Maintenance, & Repair.

W519TC-26-R-RIGG; RIGGING BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT - SOLICITATION QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

QUESTIONANSWER
1We see the PWS requires a site visit during the solicitation stage of each task order. We didn’t find a date/time in the current materials and would like to attend. Could you please confirm the site-visit date/time, meeting location inside NSA Crane, RSVP deadline, and any base access prerequisites (visitor list format, where to send it, cutoff time)? No site visit is required for this portion of the solicitation. Once and if your company gets awarded a Basic Ordering Agreement, the next step would be to issue a solicitation geared towards whatever rigging item we need, at that point a site visit will be required.
