About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) for Solicitation W519TC25R2018, issued by the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island. The amendment, dated 21-Mar-2025, serves three primary purposes: (1) answer industry questions about the solicitation, (2) extend the solicitation deadline to 27 March 2025 at 10:00am CST, and (3) update specific contract clauses in accordance with Class Deviation 2025-O0003.

The Q&A sheet clarifies that the procurement is specifically for Aluminum Round Bar (12" diameter x 10' long), not aluminum sheet, and confirms the contract will be firm-fixed price. The amendment incorporates updates to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses 52.212-5 and 52.244-6, which relate to contract terms, conditions, and subcontracting requirements for commercial products and services. The solicitation remains a total small business set-aside, maintaining the original procurement strategy for this aluminum product requirement.
