About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file related to a bus procurement solicitation for the U.S. Army Contracting Command. The Q&A provides clarification on five key points regarding the bus procurement, including payment methods, contract processing, delivery location, delivery city, and vehicle registration. Specifically, the document confirms that payments will be transmitted to the banking information on the vendor's SAM.GOV account, a standard joint venture contract is preferred, delivery will be in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (not the United States), and the Ministry of National Guard will assist with vehicle registration upon purchase.

Q&A Buses
1. Q: Due to the complicated bank system in Egypt, is it possible to use our joint venture/subcontractor company’s bank account in KSA to receive the payment (in case the job is awarded to us)?
A: Payments are made/transmitted to the banking information that you have on your SAM.GOV account.
2. Q: Please advise whether you have a specified requirement to process the joint venture contract or if we will provide a normal one.
A: It’s better to be normal one.
3. Q: There are two (2) delivery addresses in the solicitation. One is in Saudi Arabia, and the other is addressed in the US for the continuation of deliveries/performance.
Please clarify whether this means that the initial delivery is in Saudi Arabia and later will be shipped to the United States.
A: Delivery is in Saudi Arabia
4. Q: Please advise the city in KSA of the requested buses to be purchased and delivered?
A: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
5. Q: In KSA any vehicle purchased needs a person or a company to be able to register the vehicles and since USG is a GOV, will you have a way of getting the correct information for the vendor to be able to finish the registrations of the vehicles once purchase is done.
A: Yes, we can get a letter from Ministry of National Guard to register the vehicles.
