About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of thirty (30) 4x4 large SUVs by the U.S. Army Contracting Command on behalf of the Office of the Program Manager - Saudi Arabian National Guard (OPM-SANG). Key details include vehicle specifications such as 7-seat capacity, multi-color options, acceptance of both 6 and 8-cylinder engines, and a gross vehicle weight range of 5300-7000 lbs (with some flexibility). Vendors must deliver all vehicles from the same brand, with 2024 and 2025 model year vehicles acceptable, and can deliver all 30 vehicles in one day with one week's prior notification.
The solicitation allows both local Saudi Arabian and international vendors to bid, with specific requirements for local companies to provide commercial registration and tax certificates. Payment terms are NET 30, with Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Delivery is initially specified as 30 days after contract award, but the government will consider up to 45 days. Vehicle registration will be under the Ministry of National Guard, and the government will handle insurance. Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov, and while mechanics are trained on GM motors, all reputable makes and models meeting requirements are acceptable. The estimated contract award is projected for the first week of May 2025, with vehicles to be delivered to the motorpool.
