Questions & Answers #1

Dated 6 May 21

1) On page 6 of the solicitation bullet 5 - Bid Repository and Bid Opening talks about hand carried bids being the way of submission. Is hand-carried proposals the only way that you are accepting proposals or would the government accept proposals via email or Postal Service?

Bids will be accepted via mail carrier, but must be received PRIOR to the bid opening.

The address to mail them is:

TSgt Randy Brittingham 158th Mission Support Contracting 45 NCO Drive Suite A South Burlington, Vermont 05403

2) I am questioning the intent of the phasing requirements outlined the drawings C1-C6. Is this nothing more than the chronological sequence that the Government wants the work performed, or will the 2 phases require a re-mobilization at a later date?

The phasing requirement is the order in which the contract work elements will be accomplished. All Phase 1 elements are related to on-runway work, or work at/within the runway Controlled Movement Areas. These elements are subject to inspection by the FAA and are designated as Phase I to ensure they are completed before the airport's annual inspection. The Phase 2 elements can be accomplished immediately after Phase 1 items have been completed, so a remobilization is not required.

3) Pages 17-19 of the SOW (CURZ212301 AIRFIELD PAINTING PROJECT) address Geospatial data sets, GIS, CIP, map figures, ESRI, etc. Please clarify the requirement that is expected from the contractor.

The referenced pages are "boiler plate" items within our SOW. They do not apply for this project.
