Q1. What OHWS equipment are the pilots currently using at the 114FW?

Q2. Is there a fitness facility in the building or on base?

A2. There is a gym on base which is equipped with free weights and cable machines; however, all PT/AT services should be planned to be completed within the allotted space.

Q3. Since the services will be performed on a military base, will licensed professionals be required to obtain a separate South Dakota license if they possess a valid license from another state?

A3. Refer to paragraphs 6.1 thru 6.4 in the PWS for license and certification requirements for the four areas of expertise. Additional clarification: In addition, a SD License to practice would be required for a PT, AT or Message Therapist. Strength and Conditioning is a Certification.

Q4. Will the government accept a degree outside of athletic training?

A4. Yes, provided the contractor can demonstrate how a separate degree can fulfill the duties of the provider under the contract.

Q5. Do you know the number of personnel that will be supported for this contract so I can calculate the cost of consumable materials?

A5. Approximately 25‐35.

Q6. Would you like each optional pricing to be submitted on a separate SF 1449 with supporting documentation?

A6. No. Use the price schedule in the solicitation (see Section SF 1449 – Continuation Sheet starting on page 3) to provide your Item No pricing for each period of performance. Your quote also needs to include a daily dollar amount for each period of performance that is to be subtracted from monthly invoices for unstaffed days not reflected in your Item No pricing.
