W50S8W-23-Q-0003 – Yellow Ribbon Event Questions & Answers

1. Question(s) : The Performance Work Statement (PWS) states that "the lodging establishment shall meet International Hospitality Association (IHA) Three Star rating criteria." I can't find that organization.

Is the PWS referring to the German Hotel Association (IHA)? American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA)? International Hotel & Restaurant Association (IH&RA)? International Luxury Hotel Association (ILHA)? Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP)? What is the official website or resource to find the IHA ratings for hotels approved by the Wyoming Army National Guard? Can you please correct my misunderstanding?

The American Automobile Association (AAA) has diamond ratings for hotels (https://www.aaa.com/diamonds/diamond-ratings-definitions.html). Will a hotel with at least a AAA three-diamond rating suffice?

Answer: The IHA guidance has been removed from the solicitation and replaced with updated verbiage stating that the AAA diamond rating system will be utilized. A link to the ratings was included in the

PWS.

2. Question: Can you be flexible with your date?

Answer: No

3. Question(s): Would you consider alternate meeting dates? Or could you expand the region, so we can successfully look for a vendor that will best fit your needed requirements?

Answer(s): No, we would not consider alternate meeting dates. There has been a change to the PWS stating the new radius is 100 miles from the city of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
