Questions & Answers for Solicitation No:

W50S8V-24-B-0005

Construct Asphalt Pad 9 August 2024

Questions:

1. According to the specification, the assumption is that the 10’ x 90’ is laid adjacent to the 20’ x 90’ pad. If this is accurate, should it not be constructed as one entity or is there a reason for physical demarcation between the two?

A. The intent is to have the total 30’ x 90’ pad laid at the same time if it is within the budget. If the 20’ x 90’ lane eats up the budget, then we will not be adding the additional 10’ x 90’ lane to reduce the total cost.

2. In addition to the construction, there’ll be a 4” yellow strip 12’ off each long end as well as a 44’ x 20’ block marked by 3” white lines and subdivided as specified. Is this assumption correct? See screenshot below.

A. Yes, that is correct.
