About this file
This is a Question & Answer Amendment document dated February 20, 2025 for solicitation W50S8R25Q0003, which addresses two questions from potential bidders regarding ESD carpet tile installation for the Ohio Army National Guard.
The Q&A clarifies that the carpet tiles will be installed over 2ft x 2ft metal concert filled raised flooring, addressing a vendor's concern about the conductivity requirements for adhesive tabs installation. It also confirms that no specific brand of carpet tiles is required, as long as the tiles meet the listed specifications. This amendment provides technical clarification for the underlying solicitation which seeks 8,000 square feet of 24" x 24" static dissipating ESD carpet tiles in grey color and associated adhesive pads, with quotes due by 10:00 A.M. EST February 25, 2025.

W50S8R25Q0003 Question & Answer
Amendment 0001
Q1: The bid is asking for adhesive tabs, which we have, however, in order to use on adhesive tabs, the subfloor itself must be conductive. For example- a bare metal or bare steel access panel.
If the subfloor is not conductive, then a conductive underlayment roll must also be used or conductive releasable adhesive. Can you please tell me the substrate this is going to be installed over?
A1: 2ftx2ft Metal concert filled raised flooring
Q2: May I ask if you have a specific brand for Carpet tiles?
A2: We are not requesting a specific brand, just carpet tiles that meet the specifications listed.
