Questions to KP Services W50S8A-22-Q-0002

Q: Do you have a preference on how you would like to see your proposal?

A: Please see combined synopsis.

Q: Is this Solicitation being rebid for a certain reason? Wasn't it previously issued with a due date of 11/23/21?

A: It is being rebid because the first solicitation ending 11/31/21 did not result in any quotes by the due date.

Q: What is the dollar amount of the current contract? Or the last contract that was in place to provide KP services?

A: No current contract exists. The last contract for KP Services was W912TF19C5000 and had a total contract value of $59,553 and a potential contract value of $214,713.

Q: With the meal hours being 11-1p, is it necessary to have the staff work 8-4p (as stated in SOW)? Or can the hours be set by the awarded contractor?

A: 0930-1430 (maybe 1000-1430) for area prep and end of meal cleaning. The end point is based on how quickly things get completed.

Before 1100 will be minimal in terms of set-up and cleaning. Come about 1045-1100 pots and pans will start coming in from the first round of progressing cooking. 1100-1300 is the rush, where the dining room and trash will need to be turned over and dishes washed as the come in, as best possible. 1230-1430 will be the wind down of the rush and the push to get the space cleaned and sanitized for end of day. The day ends when the cleanup standards are met.

Q; How many staff persons will be needed during the 8-hour shift at the facility?

A: The predicted need is 6-10 staff persons. However, the number of staff persons is required is ultimately up to the contractor to determine. The contractor will be required to provide a management plan detailing how many personnel they will be providing prior to the start of the performance period.
