About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation W50S87-25-Q-5007 for Local and Long-Distance Telecommunication Services. The Q&A provides critical details about the contract opportunity, including that ATT is the current incumbent with contract numbers W50S872290001 and W50S8725PA002. The government requires 23 SIP trunk ports/channels, 860 Direct Inward Dial (DID) numbers (currently 660 with plans to add 200), and has an average of 6,500 long-distance minutes per month, which includes approximately 45-60 international minutes. The organization operates a trunk-based private branch exchange with about 1,000 voice numbers, and all emergency 911 calls will be routed through a local trunk to comply with Kari's law. The government anticipates a slight increase in long-distance usage due to upcoming changes in DSN services and expects the contract to accommodate potential overages and international charges.

Question 8: PWS, 6.4.3; Will you need more than 24 call paths to accommodate long distance?

Answer 8: No

Question 9: PWS 6.2; DID 860, but the current account has 660. Do you want an additional DID priced out?

Answer 9: We currently have 660 and want to maintain those. We want to add an additional 200 for a total of 860.

Question 10: PWS, 6.13 LD & Intl; recommends a separate CLIN for overages and INTL. Do you have any idea at this point current usage?

Answer 10: We currently use on average 6500 LD minutes per month. This includes international;

however, international makes up for around 45-60 minutes a month. International charges will vary depending on world events and mission requirements. Furthermore, we project a slight increase in LD going forward due to DSN service changes. The NTE amount for that CLIN should support any overages and international charges that would be incurred.
