Request for Information - 6 Stall Bathroom Trailer Notice ID: W50S7Z-23-Q-0002

1. Is this contract for a bathroom trailer or combo trailer?

Change to Original Scope: While the intent of the original Product Description (PD) was for a 6-unit Bathroom/Shower Station, it did not clearly specify that a shower unit would be required for each station. The shower station shall have a stainless steel (SS) showerhead, (SS) hot/cold water control handle, a slip-resistant/load-bearing shower pan and (SS) drain. The shower surround shall be made of a waterproof material and (SS) curtain rod.

2. Does this trailer require a waste tank or direct sewer water?

As per PD section “5.14”, the trailer shall be configured for direct use with “city water” (No freshwater storage tank required) and sewer lines. Per PD section “5.9”, the trailer shall also be equipped with a 900 gallon (min) waste water tank with sight gauge.

Addition to Original Scope: The trailer shall come with a 28ft (min) sewer flexible hose kit, to include all required hardware to connect to sewer station.

3. Will this trailer be “direct wired”?

Per PD “5.3” the trailer shall have a 50-amp plug (min) for Direct wire access. The trailer will primarily be energized by direct wire and secondarily by commercial generator.

Addition to Original Scope: The required 50-amp power supply cable shall be no less than 50 ft. included in purchase.

4. Is the electric dual fuel generator mandatory or can it be replaced with propane?

The trailer shall have all components required to be directly wired into the infrastructure or powered with the dual fuel generator per specification 5.13 and 5.18.

Change to Original Scope: Due to the nature of how we plan to utilize this trailer we will be limited in the use of propane and expect to use electrical means for our primary hot water demands (i.e. washing hands and not using the showers on a regular basis). Sinks shall have hot water on demand supplied by a minimum of two (2) 120 volt mini tank type hot water heater. Bosch Electric Mini-Tank Water Heater Tronic 3000 ES7 or equivalent (See Attachment 1). However, during scenarios where showers are utilized, a propane system is required to be able to heat the hot water heaters for maximum efficiency.

Addition to Original Scope: The trailer will require Dual 40# propane tanks to be mounted on the tongue to supply the hot water heaters during times where electrical means are not sufficient. All accessories and hardware shall be included to make the system “turn key”.

5. Can the bathroom sink be changed from a vanity to a petite sink?

Change to Original Scope: PD section “5.23.1.9” is revised to remove the requirement of a cabinet vanity sink to allow for pedestal/wall-mount (SS) sink options.

6. Does the insulation have to be spray foam as stated in PD section 7?

Change to Original Scope: PD section 7 is revised remove the requirement of spray foam insulation to allow the option for rigid form insulation.
