About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) related to a federal contract opportunity for a Pressure Blasting Cabinet. The government has a requirement for a blasting cabinet that can reduce military personnel exposure to hexavalent chromium. The cabinet should have specific characteristics, including approximate dimensions, airflow, and features like an air-powered vertical lift door and a turntable. The government is seeking quotes from small businesses and will evaluate based on price, technical, and past performance factors. Preferred CLIN structure includes the blasting cabinet, installation services, and training. The government intends to award one contract but reserves the right to consider partial or multiple awards. Vendors must submit product specifications and pricing, and include information on delivery timelines and country of manufacture. The solicitation incorporates numerous FAR and DFARS clauses. The contract opportunity is set-aside for small businesses under NAICS code 332999.
