They will be placed on the day of the first shoot and recovered on the third day of shooting once complete.

These will need to be stationary and secured with the 100’ rope and then connecting the continuing targets after that.

5. Paragraph 1.4.1 states 2,000 rounds of blank ammo is required. That equates to 200 rounds per exercise day. RFI: Please confirm 2,000 rounds is enough blank ammo to meet the exercise requirements?

This was a typo and should of stated 4000 rounds of blank ammo

6. Paragraph 1.4.2 identifies 20 x Sim capable weapons and 1,000 rounds of sim ammo (equates to

50rds of sim ammo per rifle for a 10 day period. RFI: Is airsoft acceptable replacement for for some of the sim capable weapons. RFI: Please confirm 1,000 rounds is enough sim ammo to meet the exercise requirements?

Airsoft weapons are not an acceptable alternative to sim weapons. This was a typo and should have stated 3000 rounds of SIM ammo

That is provided by the unit on that mission not required by the contractor.

9. Paragraph 1.5.8. states 2 Pashto and 2 Arabic speakers, Attachment 1 (OPFOR Roll Up) does not mention Pashto, or Arabic speakers, but is does mention French speakers. RFI: Please clarify language speaking requirements?

That is an oversite on the document that the requirement is only French speakers and no Pashto or Arabic speakers required in the exercise this year

10. Paragraph 1.5.2. Munitions paragraph doesn't state the number of effects per item. RFI: How many effects are required per item?

Effects of munitions to simulate Close air support strike or mortars and IEDs in the numbers of 2 per event.

11. Paragraph 1.5.2. states air machine that can produce mortar explosion effects. RFI: are pyro effects acceptable replacement for the stated air machine?

Pyro effects are acceptable in most training areas but the RMT sites need to have the air machine as this is in the land use agreement

12. RFI Training Area "Who Dat" what is the grid/lat, long and what is the launch area for those missions? This is needed to price fuel consumption.

The training area is in W453A. The defended vessel (stationary once in position) will be located at N30.040821 W88.520584 (~20nm south of Pascagoula). The second defended point (oil platform) is 15nm east of the defended vessel. Expectation is that the boats will alternate swarming the defended vessel and the oil platform.
