About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) sheet related to Solicitation Number W50S7G24Q0001 for Local Telephone Service SIP Trunk. The key details are:

The solicitation is for Local Telecommunication Services (LTS) and features to support the 139AW MOANG unit. The government currently has a PRI TDM circuit with 23 dynamic inbound/outbound trunks, but is required to transition to SIP trunking. The solicitation requests SIP bandwidth sufficient to provide a full PRI for handoff to the government's telephone switch. The services must be operational by 29 September 2024. The contract will be a base with four option years.

The Q&A sheet addresses a question about toll-free numbers, clarifying that the toll-free lines were provided under a separate contract and are not required for this requirement. The government has updated the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to reflect this.

Q1. I see there are 3 toll free numbers on the PWS. What carrier are they with? You currently do not have toll free on your contract.

A. The toll-free lines were provided by another contract. These lines are not required for this requirement. See updated PWS dated 28MAR2024.
