RFI # Question/Clarification Response
1 Confirm that existing door hardware will be reused.
Existing door hardware can be reused. If new hardware is supplied, must match existing.
2 Confirm that there will be no HAZMAT testing required.
No hazmat testing is required as not hazmat is currently suspected.
Regarding the flooring: Mohawk, style Lagoon, color Blue does not exist, please select from current color palette.
Utilize base standards. The proposed patterns match current base inventory. Coordinate flooring patterns with a material submittal.
Confirm that the contractor will be moving the furniture out and in, but the client with be responsible for personal item packaging and electronic/computer disconnects and reconnects.
Contractor is responsible for moving all furniture necessary to accomplish the work in the contract. All furniture must be moved back to its original location upon completion of the project. Any damaged caused by the Contractor during the period of performance will be at the Contractors expense. User will be responsible for moving any personal items and disconnecting any electronics/computers prior to work start.
5 Confirm that no painting will be required.
Repainting required for wall sections and door that are being replaced. Must match existing color schemes.
