ASOS Optic and Assc SPECS AMENDED 2.docx

This is an amended specification document for optical equipment and mounting hardware procured under a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Idaho Air National Guard's 124th Fighter Wing issued solicitation W50S7326QA003 for commercial-off-the-shelf ASOS Optics and Accessories, with specifications amended as of July 22, 2026. The acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses and is being conducted by the Department of the Army National Guard.

The optic specifications require a 30mm body tube diameter with 0.500 MOA or 0.2 MRAD click value and capped, finger-adjustable elevation features. Additional optical requirements include 3.7-inch eye relief, first focal plane reticle configuration with FC-MIL reticle pattern, daylight-visible externally adjustable illumination, 1-8x magnification range, fixed parallax adjustment at 125 meters, standard power throw lever, and a total weight of 17.3 ounces. The optic must measure 8.7 inches overall length with 5.7-inch mounting length. The mount specifications call for 1.930-inch height, 30mm diameter, zero MOA taper, and dark earth coloring. Both the optic and mount are required in dark earth color, with manufacturer confirmation that a model is available in this color with a MIL reticle.
