Current as of 10 September 2025
Q1. Is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.
If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?
A1. This is a new requirement.
Q2. If it is new, could you kindly advise if there is an allocated budget for this requirement and, if so, the amount?
A2. The budget of the Government is not releasable information.
Q3. It is stated that in paragraph 3.0 there is a list of equipment that will be reused, then there is nothing in section 3.0. Please confirm that this means there will be no existing hardware that will be reused.
A3. There are 4 existing TV displays that will remain in place and need to be part of the system.
Q4. Will the audio-visual equipment be provided by you, or are we required to supply it as part of our proposal?
A4. The contractor shall provide and install all equipment.
Q5. Could you please confirm if there are any additional bid documents available, such as specifications, floor plans, or detailed requirements?
A5. All documents available are listed on the SAM.gov solicitation.
Q6. Can you offer pictures of the conference room? Or at least dimensions, and drawings?
A6. Pictures and dimensions are available on Attachment 4. Request for access to the document must be made within SAM.gov. Before access is granted NIST self-assessment must be completed in
PIEE/SPRS.
Q7. Do the items need to TAA compliant and APL approved?
A7. Yes, all items must be TAA compliant and APL approved.
Q8. The government states Video Wall – what kind of video wall Direct View LED? What pixel pitch range, this determines clarity and cost, lower the pitch higher the cost? Video walls can be formed with multiple monitors in a pattern 3x3 165” diagonal or 2x2 110 Inch Diagonal - but this forms lines in the middle, this is a video wall too.
A8. The wall display description in PWS paragraph 5.1.2 has been updated to state “9’ by 14’ maximum, 6’ by 10’ minimum wall display; 4K resolution, 1 to 2 pixel pitch”.
Q9. Do you want 2 speakers wall mounted or ceiling tiles? Two speakers may not be enough space for room; can we get dimensions?
A9. 2 Ceiling tile speakers. Room is 19’ x 19’, additional dimensions are available on Attachment 4.
Request for access to the document must be made within SAM.gov. Before access is granted NIST self-assessment must be completed in PIEE/SPRS.
Q10. Is this strictly a presentation system with video and audio? No Video Teleconferencing capabilities? Camera and Microphone
A10. None required at this time.
Q11. The government wants 20 inputs and 20 outputs. Are the 10 inputs requested up front part of the 20 inputs requested or do you need more? Where do you want the other inputs and outputs locally at the device, future use, or near the equipment rack.
A11. Yes, the 10 inputs/outputs up front would be part of the total 20. The rest of the inputs/outputs would be for future use and could be located on the equipment rack as long as cables could be run to and from the rack later on.
