Q1. Should the proposal include the removal and disposal of the current chiller?
A1. No, the proposal does not include the removal of the existing chiller.
Q2. Shall we include the cost for controls to the BAS for the new chiller?
A2. No, Connecting the controls on the chiller to the base DDC system is not required.
Q3. Shall the cost of a performance/performance bond be included in our proposal?
A3. No bonds will not be required for this contract.
Q4. Should sales tax be included in our proposal?
A4. No, this will be tax exempt.
Q5. Is a bid bond required?
A5. No bonds will be required for this contract.
Q6. Are the wage rates posted?
A6. This solicitation is being posted as a commercial commodity purchase with incidental installation.
Because it is a commodity purchase with install, there are no wage rates.
Q7. What is the period of performance?
A7. delivery date will be determined off of the lead time submitted by the vendor for the chiller.
Q8. Is the bidding date & time remains the same? Sept. 22, 10:30AM A8. Yes, the bid close date is 22 Sept 2023 at 10:30 am central. If you would like to request an extension, please let me know.
Q9. Can i ask for a copy of the planholders list?
A9. All documents for this solicitation are posted on SAM.gov, so no vendor has to contact us for it, therefore no list is kept.
Q10. How much will be the project estimated cost?
A10. I am not authorized to disclose the Government’s estimate.
