About this file
This document appears to be the Technical Specification Sheet for a Wastewater Recycler system, which is the subject of a federal contract opportunity with Solicitation Number W50S6S24Q0032. The Wastewater Recycler must meet detailed technical requirements, including a mix chamber with 3 mixers, a 1.2 cu. ft. feed hopper, a self-indexing filter bed, and a 100-gallon collection tank. The overall dimensions are 96" L x 60" W x 102" H. This is a 100% small business set-aside opportunity with a Quote Suspense date listed on SAM.gov. Vendors should submit quotes via email to the specified points of contact, including a completed Vendor Information Table. The associated NAICS code is 333310 with a 1000-employee size standard, and the PSC code is 4620.

Wastewater Recycler Specifications
MFG: Moonstone or equal
Model: 2-3 GPM EZ Flow Series Model MS2-3BDB Modified or equal
Part number- MS 2-3BDB or equal
Conforming to the below requirements :
MIX CHAMBER
• 1” FIP Entry ball valve with flow meter.
• 3 - 1/3HP mixers, variable speed with potentiometers on the panel door for speed control.
• 3 – turboprops and shafts designed for optimum mixing and compatibility with the reactants. Enhances flocculation, contaminant separation, encapsulation of the contaminants in the residue and water clarity.
• Triple chamber mix/reaction tank with baffle weir arrangement engineered for 2-3 GPM.
• 1st chamber with 45-minute retention time for the DTC (MS 13) liquid metal precipitant
• Three 1 ½” drain full port manual ball valves for maintenance draining of the mix chambers.
• Drop chute with anti-splash guard guides treated water and solids onto the self-indexing filter bed. Allows for true gravity flow onto the self-indexing filter bed with no shearing of the floc.
FEED HOPPER
• 1.2 cu. ft. capacity. Mounted over the mix tank chambers, dispenses reactant alongside the influent to be treated.
• Variable speed gear motor auger drive with potentiometer on the panel door for speed control of the auger for reactant dispensing control.
• Low reactant indicator. When activated the system will shut down, an alarm will sound, and an indicator light will light up on the control panel to indicate the fault. Once the problem is corrected a reset button is pushed to resume normal operation.
• Compatible with optional super-sac tote system. (see options)
SELF-INDEXING FILTER BED
• Self-indexing filter bed with a variable speed drive mechanism. A potentiometer for this is located on the panel door.
• A 28” wide 304 stainless steel wire mesh belt indexes the solids forward. Indexing of the filter bed is controlled by a probe. When the water level on the filter bed rises and touches the probe the drive mechanism is activated, and the filter bed advances according to the speed set by the corresponding potentiometer on the panel door.
• High level filter bed probe. When the water level rises to touch this probe the system will shut down, an alarm will sound, and an indicator light will light up on the control panel to indicate the fault. Once the problem is corrected a reset button is pushed to resume normal operation.
W50S6S24Q0032
• Utilizes a 28” wide filter cloth roll.
• Hardened steel shafts and cast sprockets are standard.
• Chain driven squeeze roller with height adjustment.
• 2 sets of sludge guides which direct the solids to the center of the filter bed which maximizes the dewatering of the solids or residue from treatment.
• Drop chute centered over the collection tank allows filtered water that has passed through the filter cloth to enter the collection tank.
• Low cloth indicator. When activated the system will shut down, an alarm will sound, and an indicator light will light up on the control panel to indicate the fault. Once the problem is corrected a reset button is pushed to resume normal operation.
COLLECTION TANK
• 100-gallon capacity collection tank which supports the upper structure and is located under the self-indexing filter bed.
• Drain pump for the collection tank is a float activated submersible pump plumbed to a 1” FIP outlet fitting. A re-pressurization system is available as an option.
• High level collection tank float to prevent overflow located in the collection tank. When activated the system will shut down, an alarm will sound, and an indicator light will light up on the control panel to indicate the fault. Once the problem is corrected a reset button is pushed to resume normal operation.
• 2” FIP overflow fitting.
• 1” FIP drain fitting
STAIRS AND PLATFORM
• Stairs and platform come with the unit for easy access to add more reactant to the feed hopper.
DIMENSIONS
• L- 96”, W- 60” (includes width of stairs), H-102”
• POWER REQUIREMENTS
• 220v, SINGLE PHASE, 30 amp
Filter Cloth Media
• 28” x 250 yd .70 oz. polyester filter cloth roll Optional self-dumping hopper.
• Fabricated from 10 gage mild steel, painted with blue epoxy, and modified with a drain fitting and base grill
• ½ cubic yard.
