1. Q) What is the quality standard for the requested F-16 Gun Maintenance Trailer Assembly?
A) The quality must conform to specifications provided in the 88-page technical drawing by the US Air Force, Code ID No. 18894, Drawing No. X20084625.
Note: Selected vendor will be responsible to comply with FAR 52.246-2 - Inspection of Supplies-Fixed-Price: https://www.acquisition.gov/far/part-52#FAR_52_246_2
2. Q) Is there a previous incumbent to this solicitation? If so, would you please provide their contract number and award amount.
A) There is no incumbent.
3. Q) Are we permitted to submit a bid utilizing subcontractors past performance?
A) Pursuant to the RFQ evaluation factor 3 – The reference list should contain at least three (3) contracts performed (on-going or completed) as prime contractor, joint ventures and /or teaming partners. As such, sub-contractor past performance will not be considered.
4. Q) We are requesting a 14-day extension in order to allow our team to properly evaluate the drawing package and provide an accurate, quality quote.
A) 14-days seems excessive at this juncture. Please refer to the General information section for ‘updated date offers due’ date and time.
