About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for RFI W50S6Q26QA002 addressing clarifications on furniture and workstation installation requirements.
The solicitation involves furnishing and installing office cubicles, temporary workstations, and conference area furniture in a first-floor space approximately 100 feet from the truck parking location. The contractor must provide an electrician to connect powered cubicle dividers and sit-stand desks to wall junction boxes but is not responsible for connections to the electrical panel. Power is available in walls but not all cubicles are within six feet of a junction box, requiring some cubicles to use longer whips for power connections. The receiving area has a roll-up door for furniture delivery but cannot accommodate full-size semi trailers. The installation includes 20 office cubicles (66 inches tall, 7'6" x 6'6" dimensions with shared middle partition walls), 8 temporary workstations with file cabinet dividers, and lounge seating. Cubicle panels must be tackable/acoustical with metal lockers (no vents required). An 18" x 18" locker specification is substitutable with a middle-option configuration as long as shelving and doors remain accessible. The office wall lockers are slim wardrobe units with a quantity of 4, and office cubicle panels at 80" height are acceptable. The conference table must be stationary, and the modular bench requires seating only. Room dimensions are provided in the "Blueprint and Preferred Layout Labeled" file; drawings are not to scale and dimensions should be used for reference instead.
