The following have been modified:
QUALIFYING STATEMENT
Qualifying Statement for Medium Temperature Water Tube Boiler Scope This document provides the specifications and details for the purchase of (2) 240 HP, water in tube, dual fuel (natural gas/ diesel), medium temperature hydronic boilers with start cost and (1) UL/FM/CSD-1, RWF55 Siemens controller.
General Requirements These specifications within imply the equipment will operate inside an interior building space with adequate ventilation. Control will be an integral part of the unit to maintain a fluid temperature to supply building’s HVAC and process heat. Unit shall have all safety and overpressure valves included as delivered to work with stipulated system pressure.
Unit will be able to communicate with building software to run / shutoff, operate in fully automated mode, and to alarm building system if unit has burner faults, low water flow, high temperature, or other unit faults. Unit shall be supplied with an equipment stand or support structure than would allow unit to repose in a normal operating state on a flat reinforced concrete floor and allowing access to all maintenance or service ports.
Support structure to be designed to reduce floor contact stress to 500 psf or less for a unit in it’s flooded, operational state. Natural gas heating capacity will be assumed to be 1,023 mbtuh / cf. Pressure available to burner from facility is 3 psig at a delivery of 10,000 cfh.
