About this file

This document is a Notice of Intent from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Infectious Disease and Laboratory Sciences, to join the Minnesota Multistate Contracting Alliance for Pharmacy (MMCAP) in order to purchase vaccines for their pediatric immunization program. MMCAP is a free, voluntary, public sector group purchasing organization operated by the State of Minnesota's Department of Administration. MMCAP membership includes all 50 states and is open to government-authorized entities such as state agencies, counties, cities, school districts, and public higher education facilities. The vaccines will be purchased from a list of approved vendors, including GlaxoSmithKline, Merck Vaccine Division, PaxVax, Inc., and Sanofi Pasteur Inc., and will be distributed directly from the manufacturers with significant cost savings through MMCAP's volume contracting and contract management.

The pricing for the vaccines will be determined through MMCAP's group purchasing power and careful contract management. The document does not provide any additional details on the contract term, renewal options, or other salient information.
