Questions and Answers Part 4
Date: September 11, 2024
Question 6: Where it says "quantity" with a number underneath, does this indicate how many times we are expected to perform that service throughout the year?
Answer 6: Quantity is the number of times that service is required for each specific Contract Line Item Number (CLIN), during the Base Year or Option Years (if exercised) Period of Performance.
Question 7: Also, to confirm, is that quantity for just one year, or does it cover the entire period of performance?
Answer 7: Each CLIN specifies a quantity which corresponds for the specific Base Year or Option Year that services required for.
Question 8: I noticed that the same services are listed multiple times with different item numbers. Is this related to the 12-month base period and the four 12-month option periods, or is there another reason for the repetition?
Answer 8: The same services are listed multiple times because they are required in the Base Year and Option Years (if exercised).
Question 9: Based on the visit, there’s a lot of patchy grass, dying/dead trees, no mulch beds around the trees, shrubs and overall more dirt than greenery. Are you interested in ariate with over seed & fertilizing or is your desire to just upkeep the current site and clean it up some.
Answer 9: No, the grounds PWS does not state or require any services pertaining to fertilizing, aerating, or improvements. The goal/intent of the contract is for the contractor to maintain the areas depicted in the solicitation in a professional manner.
