Request for Information Purchase of Blast Curtains –Devens, MA

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

FOR

Blast Curtains – Devens, MA

1. Introduction: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY – This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes, as a means for the Government to conduct market research, identifying interested parties and their capability to support the requirement for the purchase of Blast Curtains for DPTMS-ATO at Fort Devens, MA.

Responses to this RFI will be considered and will help the Government determine an acquisition strategy. All business categories will be considered. Capability statements will also be accepted.

2. Place of Performance: DPTMS-ATO, located at 43 Quebec Street Building 680, Devens, MA 01434.

3. Disclaimer: This RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply/service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.

4. Contractor: Contractor will provide CAGE code, socioeconomic status in identified NAICS of 314120, advise if all items can be provided, and if supplying an ‘or equal’ product include item specifications. All quantities are estimated.

The contractor shall use the attached scope, paragraphs 2 thru 13 specification as a guide for each item requested.

5. Responses to RFI: Responses from interested vendors to this RFI shall be submitted by email directly to Contract Specialist, Major Kambui, Ghedi.Kambui.mil@mail.mil, 609-562-2122. Responses are due no later than Thursday, 14 February 2019 by 11.00a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Any questions may be directed to the point of contact listed above.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 314120 with a Small Business Size Standard in number of employees of 750. The Product Service Code is 7230. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size and socioeconomic status (i.e. WOSB, HubZone, SDVOSB, etc.) in their response.

Respondents shall not be obligated to provide the items described herein.
