Questions and Answers:
1. Section 5.1.2 states that contractor shall "immediately" remove ice upon notification. Please confirm if immediately is defined as, within 2 hours of notification as stated in section 1.5.3?
Response: Normal time they are allowed to respond to service request.
2. Section 5.1.7 states that the contractor is responsible for relocation of excessive accumulation as necessary off site. Is this to be built into the quote as a normal part of the scope or is this pricing additional?
Response: We do not ask them to remove snow from the site.
3. Can the trigger for both Drive Areas and Walkways be confirmed please. Is the trigger 2” or 4” for the walkways?
Response: Driveways and walkways would be done when snow accumulates within the 2-4 inch mark. At four inches but if the total of the storm is only 3 inches it is done at 3 as an example
4. Estimated Quantity Confirmation: are we basing our estimated pricing on the Single Service “Unit Pricing” or is our “Estimated Amount” the Unit Pricing X Estimated Quantity?
Response: They provide a Unit price times the estimated quantity we put on our solicitation.
