Questions and Answers--Grounds Cranston RI; W15QKN-18-Q-1126
Q: During the site visit, it was mentioned that outside "all" of the fenced property would need maintenance. However the map only shows "green/grounds" area to the north fence line. It appears to be other owner/private property except north side of fence line?
A: A revised map has been posted. Be sure to cut no more than 3 feet outside of the parameter of the building. See map titled revised map_RI007_GROUNDSMAINTENANCE_2018_06.pdf for details.
Q: Additionally, the section inside the north fence line is completely over grown with 6 foot tall knot weed, this creates a problem. This weed is in a "brand new, recently installed, bed of pea stone” and in its current state would not be considered "mow able" under a regular Industry maintenance standard. Will it be able to be sprayed with chemical? Or is the weed allowed to stay as is out of control. It can certainly be "maintained" but in its current state appears to be far outside of scope of the RFQ.
A: Pea stone & weeds will be removed by another contractor. It is to be loom & seeded and will be ready to mow in late fall.
