Text version

The following are questions the government received from industry, along with government responses. Market Research/RFI closing date remains 19 August 2016. All other terms and conditions remain the same.

Q. Are you looking for ROM’s to be the All Up Round (AUR) or the individual components inside of it (i.e. the fuze)?

A. The contractor ROM's shall be for the selectable point detonation/proximity fuze and associated components for prototype developmental/demonstration testing. All Up Round (AUR) ROM's are not required.

Q. In what year dollars do you want the ROMs?

A. Selection of ROM year funding will be left at the contractor's discretion.

Q. For the setter solution, who is the primary supplier of the M230 gun system on the Apache today? Who can be contacted for interface related questions regarding the M230?

A. Orbital ATK Armament Systems

Q. The files reference the existing size of the current fuze and that the RFI data is required to be contained within such, but nowhere are those dimensions defined. How can I get that data?

A. We have amended the RFI to make available three additional distribution D drawings that convey the size of the legacy fuze.
