About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of Defense for the production of vehicle installation kits for integrating tactical radios into Army vehicles. The RFI seeks information from industry on their ability to manufacture the installation kits and install the kits on various platforms.

The RFI provides details on the anticipated annual production quantities for the next 5 fiscal years, which ranges from 2,000 to 2,500 kits per year. It also outlines the required response content, including company/organization profile, prior/current DoD experience, capabilities, and proposed acquisition/contracting approach. Interested vendors must sign a non-disclosure agreement and provide a DD Form 2345 to receive the sample technical data package. Responses to the RFI are due within 45 days of the publication date. The Government currently intends to award a firm-fixed-price production contract for this effort.
