About this file

This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) for the PBX IV - Telecommunications Equipment and Services Master Contract issued by the Maryland State Police, Quartermaster Division. It requests proposals for the provision and maintenance of telecommunications equipment and services at 36 locations throughout the state of Maryland. The required products and services include hardware, associated peripherals and software, manufacturer's extended warranty and maintenance services, and time and material labor for moves, adds, and changes. The PORFP has a term of 5 years from the notice to proceed, which is expected to be August 1, 2023. Proposals are due by July 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM.

The pricing requested includes software assurance, equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, service desk capabilities, and time and material labor for moves, adds, and changes. There is a 25% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) goal and a 2% Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprise (VSBE) goal for the maintenance and labor services. The evaluation criteria prioritize the vendor's experience, ability to meet the requirements and timelines, proximity to the site locations, technician certifications, and compliance with warranty and maintenance standards.
