About this file
This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) issued by the Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT) under the COTS Software Master Contract. The PORFP is for the procurement of Juniper vSRX licenses, with the option for installation and training services as well as manufacturer's software warranty and maintenance. The required quantity of licenses is not specified, but the Department reserves the right to purchase more or less than the specified amount. The proposal is due on April 8, 2024, by 2:00 PM ET, and the software must be delivered to the Maryland Department of Information Technology in Crownsville, MD. The PORFP also includes special instructions, such as requiring the proposed COTS software to be virus-free and for Master Contractors to provide any applicable licensing agreements.
The evaluation criteria for the technical proposal include conformance with the scope of work, price, and delivery schedule, in descending order of importance. The agency point of contact will recommend award to the Master Contractor whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the State, considering price and the evaluation factors set forth in the PORFP. The agency will initiate and deliver a purchase order to the selected Master Contractor.
