About this file
This is a public announcement document from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) announcing the shortlist of qualified vendors selected to proceed to the interview phase for RFQ-26-104, a design-build project for the Walker Annex remodel. Three vendors were shortlisted based on evaluation scores: AULD & WHITE (64 points), E. VAUGHAN RIVERS (63 points), and SCORPIO (62 points). Two vendors, GILBANE and STELLAR GROUP, were disqualified for failing to submit required documentation, specifically missing addendum information and appendices. The presentation and interview phase will be conducted on the FSDB campus at Moore Hall CLD on September 1, 2026, with each vendor allocated 45 minutes for their presentation—30 minutes for the presentation itself and 15 minutes for a question-and-answer session with the evaluation team. SCORPIO is scheduled for 9:00 AM, E. VAUGHAN RIVERS for 10:00 AM, and AULD & WHITE for 11:00 AM.
Vendors are required to confirm their attendance and disclose any audiovisual needs via email to Christine Skaggs, Purchasing Analyst, and Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing. An HDMI cable will be available for laptop connections to the presentation screen. All questions regarding the process should be submitted by email to the same contacts. The document does not contain pricing information, set-asides, funding amounts, or contract term details, as it serves solely as notification of the shortlist selection and interview scheduling.
