Vinyl numbers for recruit helmets – ( Specification/ Bid Sheet)

OFF44

Vendor: __________________________________________________ Address:__________________________________________________ Phone #:__________________________________________________ Contact Name: _____________________________________________

DFS is requesting quotes on state wide contract OFF44 for vinyl numbers that will be affixed to our recruit firefighter’s helmets. These vinyl numbers will be subjected to live burns (300 degrees) several times during the recruits 10 week training here at the academy. In the past some of these numbers have melted off which causes a safety issue. Instructors use the recruit’s helmet number to instruct / warn a recruit of a dangerous situation. With that being said DFS needs a very high quality vinyl in order to be able to withstand the heat.

If you are going to bid this opportunity DFS needs to receive a sample of the vinyl number you are proposing. We will compare the quality to past product that was successful and possibly use it in the burn building if needed.

Forward sample numbers to – Department of Fire Services Attention: Lorie Anderson 1 State Rd.
