About this file

This is a project description document for the Veterans Tribute Park Playground Renovation, a Saint Charles County Parks project located in Missouri. The project scope encompasses selective site demolition and salvage of existing materials, followed by comprehensive playground restoration improvements including removal of existing synthetic turf and shock pad, leveling and re-compaction of base course, installation of new inlets and subsurface drainage systems, new concrete curb and steps, earthwork, plantings, segmental and natural stone retaining walls, and new safety surfacing. The project addresses on-site erosion issues in and around the central playground area. Safety surfacing is to be provided and installed separately by another contractor, indicating a phased or multi-contract approach to the overall restoration effort.

The document does not contain specific information regarding bidding timelines, response dates, due dates, site visit schedules, or bidders' conferences. Similarly, pricing terms, set-aside provisions, incumbent contractor information, contract duration, renewal options, and detailed funding sources and amounts are not outlined in this project description. The document serves primarily as a scope of work overview rather than a complete bid solicitation package, suggesting that additional procurement documents would accompany this description in the full contracting materials.
