About this file

This is a Sources Sought announcement from the Department of the Air Force, Headquarters 341st Missile Wing (AFGSC), issued on 25 February 2026. The 341st Contracting Squadron at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana is soliciting information from interested contractors for a potential Vertical Construction Multiple Award Contract (MAC). The MAC will serve as the primary contract vehicle for vertical construction of structures and facilities, repair, maintenance, and alteration of real property assets at Malmstrom AFB, the Weapons Storage Area (WSA), and Missile Alert Facility (MAF) and Launch Facility (LF) sites throughout Montana. The Government specifically seeks small business concerns, including 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) firms to serve as prime contractors with the capability to manage multiple craft-type projects through subcontractors.

The anticipated acquisition strategy calls for an IDIQ MAC with a basic ordering period of five years and one option period of two years, for a total contract period of seven years. The MAC will be solicited under NAICS code 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $45,000,000. The aggregate MAC capacity will not exceed $50 million, with subsequent projects ranging from $2,000 to $3,000,000 each. The Government intends to target eight separate contract awards, though it reserves discretion to award more or fewer. Interested parties must submit company name, Cage Code/UIE, small business status designation, and applicable NAICS codes to the primary points of contact (Cody Babinecz or 2d Lt Branden Lawson) no later than 2:00 pm Mountain Time on 12 March 2026.
