About this file

This file is a vendor questionnaire for an industry day event focused on electrotherapeutic modalities. The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its National Acquisition Office and Veterans Health Administration's Prosthetic Sensory Aid Services, is conducting market research via industry days scheduled for the last week of February 2026. This is a pre-solicitation Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought announcement with no binding contractual intent; responses are not offers and vendors bear all associated costs.

The questionnaire requests vendors to provide detailed information about electrotherapeutic devices currently available or in development, specifically excluding in-clinic devices for hospital or outpatient settings. Required information includes FDA clearance indications, unique product features, delivery and mechanism of action, peer-reviewed published studies on efficacy and effectiveness, electrode specifications, usage restrictions and contraindications, customer feedback on useful features, product advancements and pipeline items, troubleshooting capabilities, portability, manufacturing location, supply chain resilience, expedited delivery capabilities, recall processes, warranty terms and replacement timelines, loss and damage procedures, return shipping processes, trial period availability, and clinician and patient education resources. The underlying procurement is a recompete for Department of Veterans Affairs Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) devices and related electrotherapeutic modalities, classified under NAICS 334510 (Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Devices) and PSC 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies).
