OVERVIEW OF OUR COMPANY:
We are optometrists. Our process is simple.
We provide custom designed vision care programs in secure environments.
Our goal is to provide a community standard of care on a portable and mobile basis.
We are Correctional Eye Care, a company specializing in providing all aspects of vision care for patients in secure environments. Presently we provide a full range of professional services including optometric network development, training, and management. Our clients include state prisons, federal correctional institutions, juvenile detention centers, county jails, mental health hospitals, and military agencies. It is through our network of providers that we are able to deliver quality services to our present clients.
Since 1996, Correctional Eye Care has recruited over 300 optometrists for a number of unique and challenging institutional settings. All of our providers have been licensed in the states where the services are rendered and practice at the highest level of licensure. Correctional Eye Care administers over 250 clinics per month, providing routine vision care, as well as retinal screenings for diabetic patients, glaucoma evaluations on high risk populations, and cataract checks on patients taking psychotrophics.
Correctional Eye Care can leverage its experience to care for patients in other similar environments, such as: offices and work sites; long term care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living homes; public health programs; Indian reservations; and more. We can provide on-site services for routine examinations; pre-employment vision testing; employee wellness programs; occupational medical exams (i.e. color vision, stereovision, low or impaired vision analysis); workmen’s compensation; and vision disabled veterans’ qualification examinations. Our optometric program can be tailored to fit the individual needs of your institution.
Our success has been assured by the development of comprehensive vision care programs. These programs include more than just eye exams. Additional services that Correctional Eye Care can offer include equipment rental and maintenance, and optical programs.
