About this file

Summary: UWL-2404 RFI for PeopleSoft Mobile User Interface

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL), through its Business Services - Procurement and Contracts Administration division, seeking information on off-the-shelf Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for a PeopleSoft mobile user interface. The RFI solicits detailed information on company background, technical specifications, system management capabilities, implementation processes, reporting generation, and pricing structures for products that would integrate with UWL's existing student-facing applications. Responses were due by Friday, March 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM Central Time. The RFI indicated that vendor presentations may be scheduled for mid-April 2024 (tentative). Supplier questions were due by March 11, 2024, with state responses estimated for March 15, 2024. This RFI does not constitute a binding solicitation; rather, it is intended for information and planning purposes only. Responses to the RFI will not be returned to respondents.

UWL seeks a solution that would allow students and administrators to access account information and conduct transactions including course registration, payment processing, account balance viewing, schedule viewing, and degree planning through a mobile interface. The university explicitly referenced interest in state government references and indicated that information gathered may be used for competitive procurement, selection from consortium contracts, or informational purposes at UWL's discretion. Respondents must submit pricing information for all available licensing structures, maintenance and support costs, implementation service costs, and training expenses, though the RFI emphasizes these estimates are for strategic analysis purposes and do not represent UWL's final requirements. No specific contract term, renewal options, or funding amounts were identified in the RFI.
