RECTIFIER POWER SUPPLY ITEM DESCRIPTION

NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE

ISO: USS DONALD COOK DDG-75

1. INTRODUCTION

Rectifier Power Supply and mounting rails is a component required for the Harpoon Weapon System and Surface Vessel Torpedo Tube Weapon System.

2. REQUIREMENTS

The objective of this action is to procure the must needed Rectifier Power Supply and Mounting Rails as a pay back to the USS Ramage. Original material was cannibalized from ship payback is due to and is an urgent requirement under CASREP #23156.

3. DELIVERABLES

3.1: 1 Rectifier Power Supply, 843-01-16

3.2: 1 Set of proprietary Mounting Rails

3.3: Freight to Jacksonville, FL

4.0 Normal Duty Hours. The Contractor is responsible for providing performance/service, between the hours of 0730 to 1630 CDT Monday through Friday except for when the facility is closed - due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar directed facility closings. The Contractor must at all times maintain an adequate workforce for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within this DOR when the facility is not closed for the above reasons. When hiring personnel, the Contractor shall keep in mind that the stability and continuity of the workforce are essential. The Contractor shall conduct operations to ensure the least possible interference with normal operations of the activity, and shall coordinate work with Government personnel in the affected area to minimize disruption to production.

4.0 INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS

POC will inspect all items to insure proper size, quantity, and conditions are met upon delivery.

AUTHORIZED CHANGES ONLY BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER

(a) Except as specified in paragraph (b) below, no order, statement, or conduct of Government personnel who visit the Contractor's facilities or in any other manner communicate with Contractor personnel during the performance of this contract shall constitute a change under the "Changes" clause of this contract.

(b) The Contractor shall not comply with any order, direction or request of Government personnel unless issued in writing and signed by the Contracting Officer. Or, is pursuant to specific authority otherwise included as a part of this contract.

(c) The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to approve changes in any of the requirements of this contract and notwithstanding provisions contained elsewhere in this contract, the said authority remains solely with the Contracting Officer. In the event the Contractor effects any change at the direction of any person other than the Contracting Officer, the change will be considered to have been made without authority and no adjustment will be made in the contract price to cover any increase in charges incurred as a result thereof.
