THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time.
Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) for a MAINTENANCE TERM AVAILABILITY on/about September 15, 2023 for 120 days. The place of performance will be at a Contractor’s facility on the East Coast or Gulf Coast.
While the finalized list of work items is still under development, a list of the notional work package items is as follows:

| 9) | Remote Video Monitoring and CCTV Installation |

| 11) | Automatic Soot Blower Upgrade |
| 12) | Forward Shore Steam Riser Installation |
| 13) | Steam Valve Repairs |
| 14) | Crew Berthing Space Preservation |
| 15) | Rescue Boat Davit Reinstallation |
| 16) | MTF Galley Oven Replacement |
| 17) | Fan Room Repairs |
| 18) | Steam Preheater Install |
| 19) | AC Chiller Plant Servicing |

Please provide a response demonstrating your firm’s experience in performing similar work. This procurement will be solicited under NAICS Code 336611, Ship Building and Repair, which has a size standard of 1,250 employees. Indicate if your company is a large or small business, and if a small business, indicate if you fall within any of the further classifications (HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.)
Please provide your response to this sources sought notice by 10:00 a.m. est., Norfolk, VA time on January 30, 2023.
Submissions may be made by e-mail to Richard.bell16.civ@us.navy.mil. Submission of a capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Government as to the extent of shipyards available for this procurement. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice.
